Freckle Studio was established in 1999 by Nicole (Richardson) Bongard, a graduate of the Communication Design program at Parsons School of Design in New York.
Prior to starting Freckle Studio, Nicole worked for companies such as Pentagram and Two Twelve Associates, focusing on environmental wayfinding, signage, and exhibit design. She has also worked in interactive design at Agency.com and Red Bricks Media.
Clients have included Pharmachem Laboratories/Proprietary Nutritionals Inc., John Wiley & Sons Publishing, Butler Shine Stern & Partners, babycenter.com, Wildlife Conservation Society, Staten Island Zoo, Municipal Art Society of New York, Disneyland Resort, British Airways, and the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame.
